Ozy.
Ozy on the 31st May 2001. I love this photo cause she looks like she is smiling.
Breeder: Pip Walford. Colour: Agouti.
Date of birth: April 2000.
Date of death: August 6th 2001.
Nickname/s: Oza bella china (the Italian rat!)
Ozy was a lovely looking rat probably the prettiest Agouti I've seen (although I am bias), she was a big girl too! When she was younger she was quite timid and I think this was because Perdie was then dominant. Ozy's nature was quite dominant too and this soon came to light when Perdie died. Ozy was more a rat-rat then a person-rat although she could be affectionate when she wanted to be and used to chatter to me.
The funniest memory I have of her is when she jumped on the dog's (Tula's) back! Tula was really surprised it was quite funny!
During her lifetime Ozy suffered from a mammary tumor from which she recovered well. However in August 2001 she developed a womb infection and had to be put to sleep after an exploratory operation.
