Marnie.

Marnie on the 25th March 2002 at 3.5 months.

Breeder: Helen and Janet May-Bowles  Colour: English Blue.

Date of Birth: 14th January 2002.

Nicknames: Marnie-ickle (cause she is my youngest rat).

My love for this colour started along time ago, when I went to my first ever rat show to pick up Ozy and Darla and saw my first ever English Blue, there was only two at this show, but I was over come by their beautiful slatey grey coats. Ever since then I have been waiting for the right moment to get one. Once I had room to get a Blue I then had to go on a waiting list and finally I got Marine.

I absolutely adore her colour and when I have her out I cant stop looking at her! I did plan to show her but she has a lump on her tail which the vet tells me is due to a break that has re-set itself and for this reason I don't think she will be making any trips to the show ring unless its to go into a pet class! However I plan to breed her in the future.

Personality wise she is an incredibly with it little girl who I'm sure I am going to have to keep an eye on! She is friendly and has never bitten but has been unwell as a kitten and has made many trips to the vets so at the moment she doesn't really trust me.

Finally Marnie's Aunty is Ben's rat Mouse and her granddad (Mouse's Daddy) is a Dutch import called Aristo's Axel, who is a lovely big Russian blue buck that Ben and I met when we went to pick up Mouse from the Alpha Centauri stud in Weston super mare.
