Below are a selection of web pages that I have found while surfing the web. Some of them are very useful and took me ages to find, others I just like. I have split the page into U.K. site and others so that there's no confusion about where the site is based. Also there is a section on rat communities that you can join!

UK Web Sites.

The National Fancy Rat Society- The society home page offers you the chance to become a member, has details on the show calendar and reviews of rat literature + more!

The London and Southern countries mouse and rat club- Also offers membership details and a photo guide to fancy rat varieties + more !

North of England rat club.

Arrencrest European Banded Huskies- The breeder of my two huskies (Luna and Spring). It offers lots of information about the variety and also a dumbo section. One of my favorite sites !

Leigh-Anne's Rat page- A really cute web site produced by 7 year old Leigh-Anne (+ help from her mum !) this page is all about her ratties! 

The Pendragon rattery- I've included this site because of the beautiful litter of blue rats they had a while ago, its also very well put together.

The U.K. online kitten register- This was the site that I found the breeder of my huskies and is excellent for anyone looking for rat kittens, it also lists rattery web sites.

The U.K. online Dumbo Kitten list- The sister site to the one above, but offers Dumbo rat kittens for sale.

The rats of Alpha Centauri- This is a rattery site with tones of photos and loads of links!!

Rowangate stud - This site is the home of some other striped roans and who's owner helped me with the Husky rats page.

Pet rats photos- On this site you can enter you best rat photos to be voted for and there is a winner every month, it has some really cute photos.

Rat sauce- A really informative site with tones of information.

Rat-o-billia @ratmad.com- A site with loads of rat products specially selected my the author a rattery owner (so she knows what rats want!), this site also has ratty scones! they are freshly made and my rats loved them when I bought some at a show!

Introduction to the Rat race- This a very informative web site and has lots of information on Fancy rats as well as ship rats! ( I think it is based in the UK?)

 

Other sites ...

American Fancy rat and mouse Association- This site is quite interesting as it has photos of colours that aren't widely available in this country.

Silver stone Rattery in the Netherlands - Has some of the best photos of varieties I have seen on the net! They have really mastered how to take a good ratty photo! (its in English too).

Eva's rat page - I believe this is another website from the Netherlands she also has a great section on varieties and genetics.

The Rat and Mouse club of America-   A typical club site but with lots of articles etc.

 

Communities...

The Rats Lair- Home to three bucks from Luna's litter and a really friendly community, its just been set up but it will hopefully go a long way!

Ferges pet club - A club for general animal lovers but the creator is also a rat owner! recently it has had tones of updates that include: quizzes, polls as well as pet of the month competition.
